Communicate does require a secure internet connection in order to load your conversations and files.
If your conversation is not loading or it is failing to send a message it is suggested to check your internet connection and try again.
Note: A useful tool to help assess the strength of your internet connection is the speed test available on google. To access this simply type "Speed Test" in your google browser or Click here.
